Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cloud Security Firewall website, software, applications, licences, subscriptions, updates, support services and related network-security features (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing the website, creating an account, purchasing or activating a licence, downloading or installing the software, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, End-User Licence Agreement, order form, plan description and any service-specific terms presented at purchase or activation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer-protection law.

1. About Cloud Security Firewall

Cloud Security Firewall provides network-security software and related services designed to help users:

For questions about these Terms or the Services, contact:

2. Eligibility and Authority

You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the law applicable to you.

If you use the Services for a company, organisation, employer or other entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms and operate the Services on its behalf. In that case, “you” includes both you and the relevant entity.

The Services are not intended to be purchased or operated independently by children. A parent, guardian or other authorised adult must supervise use by a person who lacks legal capacity to enter into a contract.

3. Accounts and Account Security

Some Services may require an account. You agree to:

You must not share login credentials or licence information except with persons authorised to use them under the applicable plan or licence.

We may require reasonable verification before changing account details, resetting access, providing licence information or responding to a security-related request.

4. Orders, Plans and Service Descriptions

The features, device limits, user limits, licence period, subscription period, support level and price applicable to a purchase will be stated on the relevant pricing page, order form, invoice or purchase confirmation.

You are responsible for reviewing the applicable plan description before completing a purchase. Features shown in demonstrations, previews or future-development material are not included unless they are expressly identified as part of the purchased plan.

We may reject or cancel an order where reasonably necessary because of pricing or description errors, suspected fraud, payment failure, legal restrictions, product unavailability or misuse. Payments received for a cancelled order will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

5. Software Licence

Subject to compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable charges, Cloud Security Firewall grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable right to install and use the software during the applicable licence or subscription period:

The software is licensed, not sold. Ownership of the software and its intellectual-property rights does not transfer to you.

If a separate End-User Licence Agreement is presented before installation or activation, that agreement will govern the licensed software and will take priority concerning software use to the extent of any conflict.

6. Licence Activation and Validation

The software may require online activation, periodic licence validation or communication with licensing servers. Technical information reasonably necessary to activate, validate, secure and maintain the licence may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

A licence may be limited by device, user, operating system, subscription period, activation count or another criterion stated in the applicable plan.

You must not circumvent activation controls, interfere with licence validation, use an unauthorised licence key or activate the software beyond the purchased entitlement.

7. Authorised Network Monitoring

You may use network discovery, application monitoring, firewall controls and related security features only on devices, systems and networks that you own or are authorised to manage.

You are responsible for:

You must not use the Services to monitor, intercept, access, disrupt or control another person’s device, communications or network without lawful authority.

8. Security Alerts and User Decisions

The Services may provide alerts, indicators, classifications, recommendations or technical information based on detected activity. These outputs are intended to assist your security review and may not identify every threat, vulnerability, intrusion, unsafe application or unauthorised connection.

You remain responsible for evaluating alerts and deciding whether to allow, block, remove, stop or restrict a device, process, application or network connection.

Cloud Security Firewall does not guarantee that:

9. Acceptable Use

You must use the Services lawfully. You must not:

10. Fees, Payments and Taxes

Prices, billing periods, currencies and payment terms will be displayed on the relevant pricing page, checkout, invoice or order form.

You agree to pay charges that you expressly approve. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties or government charges unless the purchase information states that they are included.

Payments may be processed by an authorised third-party payment provider. The provider’s terms may also apply to the transaction.

If payment is declined, reversed, disputed or overdue, we may suspend activation, renewal or access to paid features after giving any notice required by applicable law or purchase terms.

11. Subscriptions, Renewal and Cancellation

If a Service is sold as a subscription, the billing cycle and renewal terms will be disclosed before purchase or in the order confirmation.

Where automatic renewal is offered, it will apply only in accordance with the consent and payment authorisation provided at purchase. You may cancel renewal using the method stated in your account, order confirmation or applicable plan terms.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal and does not automatically reverse charges for a period already supplied. Any refund, credit or continued-access entitlement will be determined by the terms presented at purchase and applicable law.

12. Refunds

Refund eligibility, cancellation rights and any cooling-off period will be governed by:

To request a refund, contact support@cloudsecurityfirewall.com with sufficient information to identify the order. We may request reasonable order or account verification before processing the request.

Nothing in this section limits a refund or remedy that must be provided under applicable law.

13. Updates, Maintenance and Changes

We may provide patches, security updates, bug fixes, upgrades or feature changes. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, licence validation or continued access to some functions.

We may modify or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary due to security risks, legal requirements, technical limitations, third-party dependency changes, product development or maintenance.

Where a change materially affects a paid Service during an active term, we will provide notice or a remedy where required by applicable purchase terms or law.

14. Availability and Support

We aim to keep the Services available and functional, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet or hosting failures, third-party services, security incidents, legal restrictions or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Support channels, response targets and service levels, if any, will be those stated in the applicable plan or support agreement. General response times are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

15. Privacy and Diagnostic Information

Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy.

If you voluntarily provide logs, screenshots, attachments, network information or diagnostic files for support, you confirm that you are authorised to share them and have taken reasonable steps to avoid including unnecessary personal or confidential information.

You remain responsible for determining whether your use requires notices, consents, internal policies, contractual safeguards or other measures relating to personal data.

16. Third-Party Services and Links

The website or software may link to or depend on third-party services, including payment, hosting, analytics, operating-system or communication services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or independent actions, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the software, website, interface, documentation, graphics, logos, trade marks, product names, text and underlying technology, are owned by or licensed to Cloud Security Firewall and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted under these Terms, no right, title or interest in the Services is transferred to you.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Services where reasonably necessary because:

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before termination.

On termination, your right to use the affected Services ends. Provisions concerning payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and dispute resolution will continue where their nature requires them to survive.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not make warranties beyond those expressly stated in an applicable order form, licence, support agreement or mandatory law.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, completely secure or free from every defect, vulnerability or harmful component, or that every alert, classification or recommendation will be accurate or complete.

This section does not exclude any statutory guarantee, warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cloud Security Firewall will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the Services, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill or data, where such loss may lawfully be excluded.

Cloud Security Firewall is not responsible for loss caused by:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. Compliance with Law

You are responsible for complying with laws and regulations applicable to your location, organisation, devices, networks and intended use of the Services.

You must not use, export, re-export, transfer or make the Services available where doing so would breach applicable trade, sanctions, export-control, cybersecurity or other legal restrictions.

22. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, except that this does not remove an obligation to pay an amount already due.

Such events may include natural disasters, widespread network or infrastructure failure, labour disruption, war, civil disorder, government action, epidemic, cyberattack or failure of a critical third-party provider despite reasonable safeguards.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, security requirements or applicable law.

The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice before a material change takes effect.

Changes will not retrospectively alter a completed purchase unless required by law or expressly agreed by the parties.

24. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any dispute relating to the Services will be governed by the law applicable to the contracting relationship, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or jurisdictional protections available under applicable law.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and Cloud Security Firewall should first attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith by contacting support@cloudsecurityfirewall.com and providing the relevant account, order and issue details.

If the dispute is not resolved, it may be brought before a court, tribunal, consumer commission or other authority having lawful jurisdiction.

25. General Provisions

25.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable Privacy Policy, End-User Licence Agreement, order form, plan description and service-specific terms, form the agreement concerning the Services.

25.2 Order of Priority

If documents conflict, the following order will normally apply:

  1. A signed enterprise or service agreement
  2. The applicable order form or purchase confirmation
  3. The End-User Licence Agreement for software-licensing matters
  4. These Terms
  5. General website or promotional material

25.3 Severability

If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be applied to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue to operate.

25.4 No Waiver

A delay or failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.

25.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise. We may assign these Terms as part of a lawful merger, restructuring, sale of business or transfer of the relevant Services, subject to applicable law.

25.6 Electronic Communications

Service notices, purchase confirmations, licence information and other communications may be provided electronically to the email address or account associated with your use, subject to applicable law.
